What is ‘Lived in’ hair?
It is hair that feels more natural even right after it is cut or colored. It has more raw or tapered edges as well as softer lines in the color so it is hard to tell if it is colored or natural.
This style of hair creates a low maintenance lifestyle that allows you to live the life you want, and feel like the best seasonal version of you!
What is a Gloss?
A Gloss is a Demi Permanent hair color. It is meant to control Tone (warm , cool, neutral) as well as seal the cuticle to add shine, moisture & eliminate frizz. This is a service that is included in my package pricing with every color service.
It lasts about 8 weeks and gently fades out over time. It can also be used to darken if preferred. I can also use this for very soft gray coverage leaving almost no line of grow out. There is always so much shine!
How often do you recommend I come back?
The goal of low maintenance hair is to allow more time between appointments with a softer grow out. It truly all depends on what bothers you. On average 8-12 weeks is when it starts to feel grown out enough to get a little touch up. Some looks are able to go 4-6 months depending on your hair goals. Most of my guests come in quarterly.
If you prefer 2 hair appointments a year, the best time of year is Spring & Fall. This helps connect with each seasonal look, as well as heal the hair before & after the dry season or the busy season.
What are all the services you offer in the salon?
I mainly focus on Cuts & Colors but I also have specialized in Extensions for 16+ years, starting at an extension only salon in the beginning of my career.
Add on services that I offer at the time of your hair services are Facial Waxing as well as nourishing Hair Treatments of all kinds.
I have owned a wedding venue and specialized in Bridal Hair for over 15 years during my career. I started in Newport Beach, CA doing bridal hair just out of Beauty school. Right now I have a very small availability for bridal hair but hope to open up more opportunities in the future.
